We're Praying For You!

Did you know that Nurture has a prayer team that is praying for you?

Obviously, we don't know each of your names but we are still praying for every mom that comes into contact with Nurture.  We know how important prayer is in our lives and how every mom needs prayer as they perform the most important job on earth.

If you ever have a specific prayer request, please don't hesitate to contact us at nurturewfa@hotmail.com.  We would be more than happy to cover you in prayer.

May Playdate Rain Date

I've been watching the weather reports and there is a slight chance of rain on Monday.  Let's pray it away ... at least until the afternoon. ;)

If it does rain though, our rain date will be Wednesday, May 23 at 10:00 am.  We will still meet at the Buchner Park playground.

We will make the call on Monday morning and post our change of plans, if necessary.

Little Blessings

Little Blessings is a group specifically for pregnant women and moms of babies under a year.  This is probably one of the most exciting, scary, fun, and overwhelming times in a mom's life and we would like to celebrate and support you during this time.

We will be meeting on the last Thursday of every month in Room C at Waukesha First Assembly.  

Our first meeting is this month on May 31 at 7:00 pm.

Join us for a fun time of fellowship and food as you connect with other women going through this same stage of life as you.  Babies are welcome to come with their moms.

Please feel free to invite your friends and neighbors that are pregnant or have a new baby, too.

May Playdate

Our May playdate is this coming Monday, May 21 at 10:00 am at the 

Buchner Park playground  223 Oakland Ave  Waukesha 53186. 

Moms with kids of all ages are welcome to come!

Snacks will be provided for the kids.  

If you would like to help by bringing a package of snacks (goldfish, animal crackers, graham crackers, etc) or 4 oz 100% juice boxes, please leave a comment on this post or email me at nurturewfa(at)hotmail(dot)com.

Please feel free to invite friends, neighbors, and relatives who may be interested in joining in the fun.

We will have extra Mother's Day flowers for any mom who may not have received one on Sunday.  Let us know if that is you.

Welcome!

We are so excited to welcome you to our new Nurture ministry at WFA!!  We hope you feel loved, supported, and at home here.  Nurture seeks to support moms from pregnancy through the elementary years by providing opportunities to create community through fellowship, playdates, chats over coffee, Bible studies, and other activities.

The definition of the word "nurture" is "to feed and care for during growth."  That is the life of a mom, right?  Someone is always hungry or needing our tender care.

Well, here at WFA, we hope to Nurture you, the mom, as well.  We want to "feed" you with God's word and care for you as you grow as a mom and in your Christian walk.

We hope you find community and make connections with other moms through Nurture.  We have created a few new opportunities for you to do this.  Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors to any of our events.

Little Blessings

Coffee Break

What mom couldn't use a break from time to time?  Join us for a relaxing Saturday morning Coffee Break!  Coffee drinks will be available for purchase while you snack on delicious morning treats and connect with moms in every stage of motherhood.

All moms are welcome.  No childcare will be provided.

Our first Coffee Break is on Saturday, July 14 at 9:30 am in the Higher Grounds Cafe.  Mark your calendars!
